Incident at Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC)

<p style="text-align: center;">PETRONAS Refinery and Petrochemical Corporation Sdn Bhd (PRPC) regrets to confirm that a fire and explosion occurred today (27 October 2022) at 3.40 PM at one of the interconnecting pipes located in the Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC), Johor.<br><br>PRPC's Emergency Response Team has been mobilised to contain the incident and all relevant authorities have been informed. The fire was completely extinguished at 4.50 PM.<br><br>There was no casualty reported and the incident poses no immediate threat to the surrounding communities.<br><br>PETRONAS CoBE prohibits the sharing of confidential company information without authorisation, especially on social media platforms. Irresponsible information sharing will not be tolerated.</p>
